Paul Winkler

Founder of Silverclay Construction Limited and a Civil Engineering Visionary

Born in 1943 in Hamburg - Germany, Paul Winkler always had a deep fascination with math and science. From an early age, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in engineering, a path that led him to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH).

After graduation, Paul began his career working for a renowned engineering firm. His skills and dedication made him a valuable asset, but after several years of service, Paul faced an unexpected setback when he was laid off. Undeterred by this challenge, Paul saw this moment as an opportunity. With a vision and determination, he founded Silverclay Construction Limited, starting the company from humble beginnings.

Paul’s leadership and innovative approach to construction quickly positioned Silverclay as a respected name in the industry. Under his guidance as the CEO, the company grew from small projects to large-scale ventures, including bridges, highways, and other significant infrastructure. His resilience and passion for engineering drove the company’s success and left a lasting mark on the construction world. By the time Paul turned 51, he had not only established himself as a successful civil engineer but had also built a thriving business. His peers admired him for his ability to solve complex engineering challenges, and his colleagues respected his leadership and dedication. Sadly, Paul Winkler passed away a year ago. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy continues through the structures built by Silverclay Construction Limited and the impact he had on the industry. Paul’s journey from being laid off to founding his own successful company is a testament to his unwavering determination and passion.
